A native of Watertown, Connecticut, Wivestad received a degree in Business Management from Skidmore College in Saratoga, New York, before embarking on his successful career as a golf instructor. He has extensive experience as a golf professional, having taught as an assistant professional and associate golf professional at several clubs before joining the Marriott Golf team.
Wivestad is a PGA Class "A" Member and has spent several years teaching golf at some of the most prestigious clubs in the country. Wivestad is one of Faldo Golf Institute's most respected instructors, boasting numerous top finishes in PGA section events. From tee to green, he helps his students on every level become more complete and consistent players.
